Winter projects
I finally finished the afghan and hat for the coworker's baby shower. It was not the Little Monkey set from the SNB Happy Hooker book that I had planned, though. I got about halfway into that one, got bored to tears of joining motifs, accidentally snipped the wrong yarn thread, and well...So yeah, that part that got done is in the crate now for the dogs and cats to nap on :P I did manage to finish the hat, and gave that to her a month ago. The new afghan I gave at her shower on Saturday.
Also I am plugging away at the Violet Beauregard skirt from SNBHH. About 3/4 of the way through, so I'm gettting excited.
I started on Knitty's Boogie vest this past weekend as well. Finished husband's Half Dome hat, which he likes.
More later, hopefully with pictures.

Excited!
I am only two earflaps away from completing something I wanted to make for a long, long time. The Chicken Viking Hat, my friends. Oh yes.

This is going to go on my boss's head. Pictures will be taken, and there will be much rejoicing.
Other stuff I've finished and not gotten around to getting pics of; Booga Bag, Crochet afghan for knocked up coworker, cell phone bag, 2 WIP afghans, WIP Fat Kitty from the new Crochet Me.

Afraid no more!
I have reached a milestone. I knitted a simple drawstring bag using both double pointed needles and circulars! The pattern is from Creative Knitting mag. Pictures eventually, as always. :P
Also, I'm busy making three shawls for co-workers. The one for my boss made everyone else want one. Heh.

Still alive...
Yeah, I'm still in the land of the living. I keep forgetting to update this thing. Mostly because I never get any comments here, and I'm kind of an attention ho. :P Maybe if I linked with other blogs like I see other people doing, I'd get more. It's kind of disheartening to write here if no one ever looks.
I finished a bikini for a pretty, thin co-worker in Schachenmayr Only Stretch, color Brunette. My husband sews better than I do , so he lined it with some swimsuit fabric. I used the Rio Bikini pattern from Lion Brand. Of course, I forgot to take a picture before I handed it over. :(
I think if I ever do another bikini, I'll do it in sportweight or lighter yarn. Probably, I wouldn't have to line it that way.
Today I made the Bohemian wristlet from the newest Crochet! magazine. I used a gorgeous light sky blue thread I got from RAOK in Crochetville.
